2018 - Mixed Farming Technology Forum

The 2018 Mixed Farming Technology Forum and Field Trip was held on Thursday 2nd August 2018 and Friday 3rd August 2018 at Parkes.

The Agribusiness Today Forum is hosted each year by RDA Central West, Charles Sturt University and the Graham Centre, in different locations across Central West NSW.

The Agribusiness Today Forum is a highly-successful two-day event held annually at different locations across Central West NSW. 

Focused on future smarter farming, the 2018 Forum and Field Day will have expert speakers discussing ‘Innovation and Technology in Mixed Farming Enterprises'. The Field Day will give producers and agricultural students the opportunity to see first-hand the concepts of innovation on-farm with live demonstrations.

This year, speakers will cover topics including;

·         SwagBot robotics
·         Sensor driven data collection in the livestock supply chain
·         Data and satellite technology to drive productivity
·         Herbicide use for cotton farmers
·         New farming technologies for the next decade
·         Challenges to adoption of new technologies
·         Market updates and predictions from MLA and AWI
